Brian -

I don't think it's a driver issue. (I'm Tom's client.) I tested the same scenario with another printer and got the same results (RAW switch causes print to go to wrong tray).

From our INI file, here's the relevant bit for this printer:
Printer = L98,W ,N, ,TEST,,;
Printer = L99,W ,N, ,TEST:RAW,,;

Attached are screenshots of the print setup in Windows.

"printer_config.jpg" will show you the trays available to the device, and what's in them. For this example, we're trying to print to the legal sized paper in "Upper Pedestal 1".

"general_print_prefs.jpg" is the setup of which tray to print to from Properties > Printing Preferences. (Legal, Upper Pedestal 1.)

"advanced_print_defaults.jpg" is the same as above, but from Advanced > Printing Defaults. We set both just to make sure.

Printing to L98 works -- you get the result on legal-sized paper from the tray configured in the printer properties.

Printing to L99 does not work -- you get the result on letter-sized paper from the first available tray.

I tested this again on an HP2300 using the same setup, and it fails in the same way. It seems unlikely that it's a driver problem, though I'd be happy to try again on the 3 other types of printers we have..

Any help appreciated.

Thanks -
Justin
