Barbara,

No programs were running when performing a workstation install. SOP here is to log out the user, log in as the local Admin and do the installation.

I am aware that COMET.exe will copy the files to the user's temp folder. But why would we find a comet-related dll in System32?

And why is it one user's pc knows to use the dlls in the user's temp folder, but another user's pc persists on using the dlls in system32?

Is there an environmental setting in Windows 2000 that we can look at and correct?
