Newer version of Comet seems to put the COSW.INI on the folder
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Signature Systems
I also noticed that the Windows Explorer's search facilities does not list files in there, they are considered hidden system files or something.
I've been experimenting with the location of the COSW.INI and the ($CAFILES) Directory Alias in the last few days. We are getting ready to deploy Active Directory on a full-blown Windows 2003 Domain and find that some of the default security settings are creating problems.
I also found that the use of the COSWGLOB.INI is also makes the use of Directory Alias very confusing.
I'm still fighting with it.
