I am getting this error on startup of my system. Just as it is about to display the password prompt , up comes this GPF. It is happening on only some of the workstations and at this point I cannot find any difference, although there easily could be discrepancies with Windows upgrades. We are running W2K3 server with xppro workstations.
I was taking everyone up to the latest c2005, following a fire that ripped throught the warehouse last Wednesday night. No physical damage to the computers but the door to the computer room was open and it was very close to the fire ( PVC fittings) and everything was covered in a layer of thick black foul smelling muck.
I noticed thgere had been earlier reports of this error - Robert when printing and your response implied thgere were other so I will look back and see if they found a workaround. My feeling at this stage is to go back to server 508 & w/s 358.
Its Sunday night here at the moment so I can experiment if you want Jim but I wont be staying all that long if I can get it up with the above reversion.
