What we did is uninstall the Comet Server products from the current server. Move you dongle/plug to a new server and run the install on that server for the security server only.
Then install the on the database server the cometserver products but only install the database server.
Then when you issue a net stop on cometservices on the database server only that service stops. There is no need on the security server to ever stop it.
Remember you must add this new server statement to your .ini and a new
statement server statement in you node section as ",S" security only (Server = Nxx,S;).
