I built you a couple of programs to try. I don't have a device to test these, so lets see if they will open the cash drawer.
One is for com1 and one for com2.
To execute them from inside one of your programs, just put them into your "Start in" folder and use the (launch mnemonic)
print(launch="com1open.exe")
These were built with .net, so I think any computer that you expect to execute them must have the .net framework installed. You can find that on windows update.
