Hi Jim,

'opencom1.exe' works fine (first time) on a full version of Comet under WinXp.
Tried to test it on CAW but I only have a Win98 machine without .net.
To download and install .net via dial-up hardly seeemed worth the effort.
The Woodman's site is Win2003 server so I am assuming that .net will be there and it will all be good. I will be up there early in the new year to add 2 more branches, so I will test it then.
Can you remove the display window now that we know it's cool. Purely for cosmetic reasons.

I noticed that NTVDM references a config.sys and autoexec.bat file which look remarkably similar to the files for multi-user cards under DOS. There is a line in the config.sys file (FILES=40). Do you think if I changed this to FILES=255, it would make a difference?

Thanks for all your help so far. Merry Christmas to everyone at Signature.

Cheers,

Doug
