OK, I'm going to do the best I can here, but I'm confused by much of what you say.
1) If you click on the "X" at the top right corner of the screen you get a message box verifying that you want to close the Comet session. Any time you do that from any program you're going to make a "quick exit" out the back door!
2) The IB name and column heading are transfered from #FILES. I just tried it.
3) The FORMAT name is set to the name of the actual file.
4) This one I just don't understand. Sorry.
We're planning to encourage an open discussion at the Las Vegas meeting about where DbMgr / Reporter should go next.
