Of course when I tried what you did it worked fine. ;-) Are all of your directories type "C"? When you do a rename without specifying the dir, Comet first does fstats of the "from" file on each configured dir until it gets a hit. Then it sends the RENAME command to the server with the dir name filled in. If you wish to investigate this further, turn on the logging messages for "FStat" and "All Other Messages" in the file server (click "View" then "Properties"). Rerun the test that previously failed and perhaps we'll see whether it's the FSTAT or the RENAME that's failing.
