My local cometanywhere icon runs comet.exe from my comet anywhere folder. My understanding is that if comet is changed on the host machine, then the remote comet is updated automatically. It appears I am confused as to (1) if this is they way it is supposed to work and (2) if the answer is yes to #1, what needs to be done to make it work. Either point me to, or please provide something in writing that details what needs to be done to get this process to work. After installing c2006 on my client's site, I downloaded the latest cainstall.exe and ran it pointing it to my cometanywhere folder. I thought this would be enough to insure that any comet updating would be done.
