Thanks for all of your help. Here is where I stand. As a refresher. I am moving my comet 2000 to comet 2005. I am not going to use the comet 2000 licenses. I have installed cometserverproduct606.exe on my server at k:\2005\ and i have also installed cometworkstation370.exe on my server as a server to k:\2005. I have also installed cometworkstation370 on a client as a client. I have moved all of my directories (dsk, src, help, obj,) from k:\2000\.... to k:\2005\.... in addition I have downloaded utl and rel and have unzipped them into K:\2005\rel (and utl). I then went into comet.ini and changed all of the 2000's to 2005's. I have changed the directory types to "c". I need to change my node-server type to "C" however my current configuration readsas security server only "server=n00,s" so should I change it to "server=n00,c"? It is all very confusing,
