I was up in Michigan this week and stopped by to see what I could do on site. We removed all of the original printers from the folder of both workstations then recreated new local printers on the two offending workstations (local one worked fine). We had to create new ports using the UNC as the name of the printer. After that one workstation worked and one had problems with the condensed mode. That was one of the two original problems trying to use the Windows / networked printers. We compared the condensed settings in Comet and noted one had set to medium weight. The bad one was set as don't care. Changing the weight to medium did the trick. First time ever we have changed the setting from the default don't care??????????????? I don't recall changing the other system to medium so don't know how it got set but am glad it did.
