Here's a bit more clarification about the location of the user's temp folder. CosP uses the GetTempPath function to get the pathname. Here's the documentation on that call:
The GetTempPath function gets the temporary file path as follows:
The path specified by the TMP environment variable.
The path specified by the TEMP environment variable, if TMP is not defined.
The Windows directory, if both TMP and TEMP are not defined.
Willie, you can check the value assigned to the environment variables by right-clicking on "MyComputer", selecting "Properties", then "Advanced". Then click the "Environment Variables" button. At least that's how you do it on Win 200 Server :-)
