we're running comet 2005, build 358. so, LPT/LPH output should be going to the 'temp' dir defined in the environment variables. ok..
it would appear that you're sending output to the "system" temp dir, not "user" temp dir. they're two different things. right click 'my computer', properties, advanced, environment variables:
user TEMP & TMP: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp
system TEMP & TMP: %SystemRoot%\TEMP
the system temp dir is system-wide, obviously, and people with 'user' rights don't have access to it. they should be using the user temp dir.
in a dos box, typing 'set' gives you all your environment variables. for TEMP & TMP, i get back my user settings, as i should. not sure how comet is obtaining this, but it's grabbing the wrong one.
