As I recall... I thought that CSV files were extremely easy to write (and read) from a comet program. Then the discussion devolved into various mutations of CSV files such that the CSV files that were acceptable to Excel were not standards in some way. Also, I recall that there was to be some sort of first record that would contain the field titles.
I have written several Comet programs that generate CSV files. These files load OK in Excel. My IBS program just creates a text file and prints fields with commas between.
Isn't that all that is really required? What am I missing here?
