We have an end-user in Atlanta, Jim Thompson, that is running Comet2005 on a Novell server. They are fairly anxious to migrate off the Novell server to a Windows server
platform. In terms of hardware, they would like to purchase a 64-bit, dual core server as opposed to locking themselves into a 32-bit server purchase. With this in mind, we have
purchased a 64-bit server platform for testing the Comet Services. During this testing the only “glitch” we came up with is that the crypto-box software had to be updated
for 64-bit hardware. Once that was accomplished Comet Services came up, registered licensing and ran without any problems. We ran a number of our programs against
this server and did not encounter any issues.

However, prior to actually recommending that Jim Thompson purchase a 64-bit platform, we’d like to know that we would have active support in place in case any issues
do come up in this conversion. Is it possible for Jim & Gina to stop by when they are in NYC next week? They might have some ideas for testing that might catch something we missed. We could also discuss contingency plans in case some issues did arise while Jim Thompson is running on the new platform. Please let us know
if this is possible. Thanks in advance, Tom.
