Got some info back from Microsoft on the systax for mstsc.
mstsc -v:servername /F -console (/F for full screen)
I have four methods to test getting a connection to session (0).
1) mstsc -console
2) SBS 2003 has installed a "Remote Server Management" selection in IE. It points to http://ssasd00/tsweb/default.htm
3) SBS 2003 installs Remote Web Workspace automatically. After logging in to the web site and selecting servers, I can check the "Log on to or resume console session" option.
4) Find the same option in my existing RDP configuration files.
