I'm working with Brian on a problem of "buffer overrun" messages in the CFamNetServe.log. Seems to have started with 6.11.
One customer (single server, 10 workstations) has lots of these messages but no apparent problems in Comet. Another (multiple server, 60 workstations) started getting "stuttering" in data flow. Things like odometers, DIRCAT displays to the screen, and going from program to program will get brief pauses and then continue normally.
Second customer upgraded from 5.8 without CFAM to 6.11 with CFAM. I had to retro them back to 6.08. The "stutter" lessened.
The messages are not generated on my developer laptop running standalone. Nor, from the CW running on my server for CAW and XAP. When I connect my laptop to the server then the messages start.
