When a computer starts comet and fails to find the server identified in the COMET.INI file wouldn't it be great if it would start searching the subnet that the workstation is on for the server? We have 200 customers with cheap broadband routers and the Windows XP 'servers' do not have a static IP address. I get a call a day and it takes me 20 minutes to change the INI or give them a static IP which a hardware tech will remove in a week.
