Had a client report to me that comet kept crashing all morning. Determined that it was an issue with dbx. I remembered there was an issue about if dbx found a bad spec, it caused bad things to happen to comet. In this case the bad thing was that all the comet users (18 full and 35 cometanywheres) went down. It took me about an hour before I could determine that it was in fact a bad .v00 file. My question, is there a way to somehow display when view manager is reading thru the folders to find the .v00, either the last successful read, or the one that is currently being read so that trouble shooting can go a lot faster? Of course, it would be even better if view manager didn't crash comet when a bad .v00 is found. Thanks
