I am trying to run a Fax confirmation program on a new Win2003 server. I have installed the latest CometFaxSupport.exe and verified that the FaxDriver.exe and necessary drivers are installed in the Comet executable dir as well as the Comet start up temp folder. My problem now is when my fax program runs, it is launching the "Send Fax Wizard" and it waits for input on where to send the fax, and I can't seem to get past it.
I compared the "Comet Fax" printer settings (in the Printers folder) on this new server machine with another customer running the same fax confirmation program on a Windows 2000 Pro machine and the properties are different. The Win2000 PC has a "PORTS" tab and in there is a "CometFax" port which points to the Comet FaxDriver.exe prgm. There is no "Ports" tab on the Win2003 server. There is however a "Configurations" tab & it has a link to use "Fax Service Manager". I have looked through this program but cannot see how I can point it to the Comet FaxDriver program. Does anyone have any experience with this?
