Due to the apparent fact that corruption can occur to COSW.INI when saving window settings, I'm inclined to move quickly to the registry for "often-modified" settings only. I'll enable this feature by, you guessed it, a setting in COSW.INI. It will be something like "RegSetEnable=1". This will not affect (at least for now) any programs except COSW.EXE which will use the registry to store window and tool position information.
