Thanks for the ideas. We swapped out the network swith and changed NIC card in the server and the problem still occured. I have doubled checked the DNS settings and all looks good. I found a few little things like a NIC card that had power save on, a WinXP home PC, but nothing major. The good news is since I installed BB's new CfamNetServe.exe the problem has not returned. However I am sure this corrected the problem or it just stopped happening, since this problem has come and gone in the past in bunches.
