Since you decided that MSFAX was not the way to go, I installed the CometFax.
I have been able to create a VB.NET program that uses the supplied DLL's to send faxes, using the fax/modem in my notebook. (Surprised nothing complained about licensing...)

I agree that the FaxManJr interface while simple, does work.

I am continuing to develop an interface between our REDI2Transfer process and it, which will replace our right fax server for the time being.

We will most likely purchase the Full FAXMAN SDK as I think we will be needing the ability to do multi lines, queuing, and status reporting.

During my learning I found that the Comet Interface can be programmed to use the WaitForEvent Method, which the Docs say should not be used as some events can be missed. Just wondered if the missed events were causing some of the lock up problems reported.

FaxManJR is also BETA testing v2.0
