Just so we are clear....
If a folder is read only then DIRCAT will not throw off a 99/74 on a file that is marked read only in that folder.
The file data Create Date, Update Date, Size are not returned in DIRCAT or FILENT in a Read Only Folder on a file that Read Only.
An attempt to open a read only file in a read only folder will generate a 99/A8 error. You shold be able to easily recreate this.
For discussion in the meeting is how can we use read only files in Comet.
