Hi all,
I upgraded end-user Bergamo to current versions of CometServe32, Comte2007 and REL/UTL. Two problems:
First - The CometAnywhere Host and Comet sessions all began generating an error 9B, Server Transport Error. Looking at the error message it indicated a problem with the textfile that contains the Comet version number, used in determining if remote upgrades are necessary?? I recall a prior problem with this, where the file was empty. I exited the C/A host and restarted, the text file has 382 in it now and users were logging back in. I think this is fixed, but
could we fix the program so that it does not bomb if the file is empty for whatever reason?
Second - My Email printing programs no longer worked without operator intervention. A dialog box came up asking for a User Name and Password. I renamed out EMAILPTR and installed the version they
were previously running - email printing is now working again. What's the story with the user name & password? Their Email server is set to relay without authentication from their internal IP addresses.
Tom.
