1) Please send a copy of the E9B that lead you to believe the problem was with the text file. Also, we just released ServerProducts version 7.03 yesterday. Is that the one you installed? There was a problem corrected in CFAMNetServe that could have resulted in E9B on a busy system.

2) From what I can see in the emailptr source, it should only ask for user name and password if the server requires authentication and you didn't specify both the user name and password. Perhaps looking in the log file to see what the server is sending will help determine what's going on.
