Ok, event 4201 - system has detcted a network card & has inititated normal operation. A warning that appeared as we started work this morning, MS says its a normal message and can appear at startup. We hadn't turned it off though, no message about it undetecting a network card. 15 minutes later the same message again. oh oh.
Went to update device driver and got an error message saying the style of the INF is different to the one requested ?.
SOunds like the driver may have been corrupted to me.
Downloaded the latest driver from SIS and it loaded OK. Here's hoping.
