Yeah ... just went thru this with a client I recently converted from Qantel to Comet. Their spooler was called NP1. Since Comet would not support a spooler NP1, I set up the SP1 spooler. Unfortunately, their employees (without thinking) just typed NP1 for the printer name. AND, the had an object called NP1. Thought it would give an error, but after speaking to the COMET gurus, discovered that it did not. Wound up changing the NP1 program to NPP. If there is not an existing file, then comet will give an error.
