If I compare to your results, I guess this is about average.

Client is P4/2.4Ghz

TEST4 / 1000x10
CLIENT -> SERVER DIR: 8.9 SECONDS
CLIENT -> CLIENT DIR: 3.97 SECONDS
SERVER -> SERVER DIR: 2.13 SECONDS

Server is running CA host with about 5 users online at the time.
