The answer above is the way to fix it, but you might want to set your remote desktop connection to allow sharing of local drives.
To do this goto start run mstsc
Select Options
select the local resources tab
Tick Disk Drives (or alt d)
Then connect to the remote server
Once connected open windows explorer (right tick start and choose explore)
You'll notice on the left side of the window as you scroll down you'll see something like C on mycomputer indicating your local drives are visible from the remote connection

Simply copy files from your drive to the remote drive with copy and paste like you would on your own pc.

Tis that simple
