I'd prefer it be a Sysgen setting -- that way we can actually use it, regardless of what application(s) are running, how old they are, etc. The likelihood of the software that we're using being modified to support this feature is slim/none.
Also gives you the ability to say, "Node-X never idles out, but Node-Y idles out at 60 minutes".
