My client has recently changed their networking to use a WAN and they have all terminals at each branch automatically getting their IP addresses. A couple of times lately one or two terminals require rebooting and when they come back they have different IP addresses but the old ones are still connected according to the console.
I never had this problem before, I always used fixed IP addresses for preciselt these sort of reasons. I am ruuning 7.02SEC & 7.05CS32, workstations may or may not be running 385, I haven't individually loaded the WS software on each PC as the customer is 500 miles away. This would appear to be the same problem that Robert was talking about in the unanswered query of 20/12.
