Printer woes

Newbie Bob here again. I have Comet working OK, but seem to be doing something wrong with printer setup in the INI file. I have two printers working in Windows on a 2003 network (with zero computer clients so far). One prineter is a HP 4100tn and it is networked with an HP JetDirect card --- no attachment to a computer, just cabled to the router. Its Windows name is "HP LaserJet 4100 PCL 6" and it is shared under the same name. The second printer is and Epson 2090 and it is locally attached to the server on the parallel port. Its Windowns name is "EPSON LQ 2090 ESC/P2" and it is shared with the same name. My Comet INI entries are pasted below and the entire INI file is attached. I did remember to generate a new Comet configuration file and restart Comet. I have tried quite a few INI variations without success. Comet recognizes the printers on the READY page but says they are off line.

Printer = LP1,W,N,, \\HP LaserJet 4100 PCL 6\;
Printer = LP2,W,N,, \\USER1\EPSON LQ-2090 ESC/P2:RAW;

On a related note, I would like to configure Microsoft Document Image Writer as a Comet printer. Has anyone tried that? From the discussions about CutePDF, I wonder. I would also like information about how to configure MDIW or a PDF file printer in the INI file.

Bob

BTW, with the jhelp from the forum, I got the file transfer issues under control. Thanks!
