OK, I'm reading. Go to Symantec's Web page and their NEW product is NOT called Symantec Enterprise Edition 11.0. It's called ENDPOINT SECURITY. I've downloaded all upgrade files and have yet to find any instructions. They boast what their products are, what services they have, what classes they offer, etc, etc, etc. It's all marketing!! Cost, Cost, Cost! I'm upgrading for crying out loud! What's the new layer?? Been using Symantec for years!! They're biggest pitch is they offer anti-virus, anti-spyware, malware protection, etc, etc, etc for LAPTOPS, DESKTOPS, SERVERS and the new icer, MOBILE devices. Not that much different.. So what's this?? Anyone interested in MOBILE Security?? I'm not.. At least not yet.. This marketing approach is geared toward upper organizations, not small/medium. Seems like ENDPOINT is taking a drastic left turn from ENTERPRISE EDITION protocol. Don't know yet. All I know is that I'm extremely hesitant in using my client as a experiment and out of no where, driving up the COST, all while being LIVE!! NO way!! My clients subscription expired May 1st, mine expires in August. I'm upgrading to ENDPOINT now and blowing away my final 4 months of subscription of Enterprise Edition 10.2. Client first, me second!!
