What you are doing should work. The only difference is the alias is not one created by comet, but rather one you created yourself.

As you can see from the release documents, we have been working on copyfile lately. This was mostly between 2 directories on the local machine, not CaHost to CaClient. On the client, check the directory alias and make sure you can create files on it using windows. Second, try to copyfile to it using the full path instead of a directory alias. Third, try a copyfile to a system controlled alias instead of the one you created.

I will attempt to set up a test here to duplicate the problem.
