I will take your word for it that the lock is unlocked in that process. Remember that the file server will allow the same partition to open the file as many times as it likes. This can be on a different LUN or the same LUN in an entered program.
If, indeed, the file is unlocked to other users by that closeall, maybe it is a good thing because no one wants files locked several enter levels deep (and the user went to lunch with his workstation screen locked).
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
