End-user called up - can't run Cash Receipts because a work file is busy. That's a strange issue because the work file has TERM$ as part of the name. I have him try running in another session of Comet - that gets by the first error but gets an erase exception on another file & he's the only one who does Cash! He finally lets on that his PC crashed a few minutes before and yes, he was in cash entry. I have him exit Comet - Whohas shows his node with the files still open. The only thing I can do is stop & restart Comet Services. I don't ask for much, but I'm going to plead for this because I could have used it twenty times so far this year - Please provide some kind of ability to tell Comet that a node no longer has a file in use. The amount of disruption that must take place to get CometServices restarted makes me really look like the bad guy. And it really doesn't make me look good to tell a user that they can't update because the file is in use by someone else and that someone else is him.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
