We have experimented with the Copyfile option and have found it to be very powerful. However, in testing CAW, we have encountered this issue. (We are running on Comet 2008.392 UTL 804 REL 803
From a CAW screen,
1. Compare 2 files on the CAW local system (flags are set to 1+64+256+512) Results are Funcerror 21 and Filerror 0. This is what was expected with the same file in 2 different folders with a different modify date.
2. Compare 2 files on the Comet Server (flags are set to 64+256) Results are Funcerror 21 and Filerror 0. This is also what was expected with the same file in 2 different folders with a different modify date.
3. Compare these files again but put one on the CAW local system and compare it to the other one on the Comet Server. (flags are set to 1+64+256) Results are Funcerror 22 and Filerror 80. Not what was expected. Should have been 21,0.
I need to know if I am doing something wrong or if this option has a bug in it. We are very close to implementing a Document Imaging system and since we are very heavy with CAW users this is now very important to get to work. By the way, Comet users have no problem comparing a local file to a file on the server.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
