I DO understand exactly what you are talking about. I never considered this case. The comet variable is numeric, and the field is surrounded by double quotes because it contains embedded commas and possibly a dollar sign. I Can see how comet could be modified to read such fields, ignoring those extraneous characters. It would be much easier to do in comet32, but it could be done in both runtime versions. If some of you feel it is worth the time, I will attempt to code this.
