Jim, this has a lot of value, I am very careful in my export programs for data that goes into comet to make sure there are no commas or dollar signs in numeric fields since I know Comet doesn't like them. If you could handle this in the CSV function by stripping out any non-numeric portion of a numeric specified field (i.e. no surrounding quotes) that would help a lot. This is especially true where I don't control the data coming to me.
