Comet as a Service

Has anyone attempted or know if you can run a comet program as a service? Reason I ask, is I've got a non-comet application that runs on a Win2k Server and when it's done, I need to start up my comet program to process the data. I am able to start up a dos command window (cmd.exe) and I have confirmed that this part works (I get it to send a directory list to a file on hard drive). Then I get comet to start up in the batch file and it dosn't do a thing. I can write a program that has no screen output, but I still would need comet to start up in the same manner. Just throwing this out there. I've got an alternate solution that is working.

This is a recent version of comet (we upgraded last year).

Thanks, Bruno...
