Yes that is what I was hoping to do.
Open the printer and supply a document name as that is the one that the printers under windows see.
This would allow a "generic" (my) windows printer to have more information on the document it is printing, i.e. an invoice number. My windows printer could then use that to, say find a command file for that particular document on how to process that document.
I'll look more into pdfFactory tomorrow.
Did not really want to buy it for multiple users, not sure it will be flexible enough, and my FAXMAN based windows printer does print to fax (making TIFF's) already.
