Doing a write up for my clients about the future. Need to make plans. At the same time, Win 2000, XP, Vista and 7 will be available and supported by MS. 2000? Gone. My client just went to XP 1 year ago. XP came out in 2001. Vista? Marketing nightmare.. Wasted 2 years and suffered convincing to upgrade to Vista. Win 7 same code base as Vista. Win 7 is radical compared to XP. Think security and Mobile devices. Catch 22!! Vista SP2 due in April. Win/7 subscription?? Rent what you want?? Vista last full release of OS? From here on out subscribe SaaS?
