Okay,
I did in fact still have Comet Server Products installed.
This is Comet .396 on Vista.
Removed Comet Server Products.

And I am back to the problem I reported via email in mid January.

Comet v.396 does not start and reports....

One or more file servers required to run comet are unreachable.

Uninstalled v.396, install v3.93 and it works fine on Vista

Note: Though I did not test yet with .396 on XP Pro, I did report in January that .395 worked under XP Pro, but under VISTA exhibited the same problem that I am seeing now with .396
