Secondary key - Colour - handy for manufacturing to know what comes in what colours. But note key is colour, only skhows the three digits but has many records for each colour - this is done by Comet not by me. It is what I want.

Secondary Key - Product - This is the one where I want it to be different to how Comet handles it. As per colour Comet maintains multiple records for each key, there are three records in the file for each colour, I only want one.
In sewing threads for example there may be a thousand colours for each product, they all cost the same, to print a price book , I only want three records, tst01, tst02, tst03.
The question is could there be an option so that the secondary key is maintained at a fixed length and not added to by Comet
