OK, tried to compile on my laptop and it went further.
The CAPI windwo showwed the creating, opening & listing to CAPI0000.
It then crashed with an exception25, opcode 48, ip00000882 Unknown

Subsequent compiles stop at the same place as all the earlier attempts.

Killing comet and restarting didn't help
