The startup details can be displayed in Comet32 the same way you do it in Comet16. Just click on the "Details" button at the bottom right of the Comet splash screen. The window will pop up with the details. Save them to a text file and send them along!
As far as your comet.ini file is concerned, only you can know where that is :-) I think most people keep it in their Comet folder (same place as the .cfg files).
