Tried your program. I created a new folder c:\test. Ran your program and it worked just fine. The folder was gone and the program did not display any error. I then put a few files in the folder and ran your program again. I got the 27 and d91.

Knowing that the 91 was hex, that translated to windows error 145. I did a google search for that and got a page that included the following:

Windows Error 0x00000091 - 145
The directory is not empty.
ERROR_DIR_NOT_EMPTY

What does that tell you?

Windows will only let you delete an empty folder. That means no files or folders may be located in it. Try a find-first,delete,find-next loop. And make sure there are no folders in it either.
