On a side note and after talking with Barb, tried the (Launch=) command for a BAT file. Never did this before. Discovered that XP and Vista have no default association with BAT files (cmd.exe?). Check it out, 504 all over again. You have to define it yourself and I'm still experimenting with it. Started re-reading my DOS 6.2 manual. The RD command will wipe out everything providing you use the /S /Q options. Dangerous? After a full afternoon, couldn't get the BAT solution to my liking. Needs more testing. I'm just trying to get a solution. I'll try your suggestion, it just adds another level. Delete all files first, then delete the directory. Glad my archive design is at the single sub-directory level. Multiple sub-directories, level after level, though possible would be difficult at best. I'll keep everyone posted. Maybe security should be more highly thought about when sub-directory DELETION is concerned. Don't want COMET to be used as a virus tool.
